Welcome to the PSP General Forum!

Now to the not-so-fun part. We really hate to be a buzz kill, but some of this stuff needs to be said...

Any member found to be intentionally spamming our community will be immediately banned. This is really a zero tolerance policy. When you spam other communities, you put our community in jeopardy due to possible retaliation. There is no need for spamming. Just enjoy your system(s) of choice and let others enjoy theirs.

Additionally, flaming on the forums is not allowed either. There's never a good reason to flame anyone. If someone posts a topic you think is inappropriate or you feel it's spam, then report it, please. We make this option very easy for everyone to find and use. In the lower right corner of every post you'll see a link titled "report abuse to a moderator". Click the link and you can leave a note saying what you found to be wrong with the specific post. It will be reviewed by a moderator and we'll decide what needs to be done with it, if anything.

We can understand everyones frustrations when it comes to people asking the same questions over and over; however, that's what this forum is for. It's primary use is for asking questions about the actual PSP hardware. The PSP is still fairly new, not everyone was able to rush out at launch and pick it up. So please bear with people who have questions, no matter how silly you think they are. Please realize there will always be some repeat topics. If you are tired of replying to ones about certain things then just don't reply. No need to try to make the person asking for information feel bad or embarrassed for doing so. Remember you were once new here as well. The last thing we want to do is allow new members to be run off due to being flamed for asking simple questions.

These forums should be a friendly place for everyone to post their questions without fear of hateful or mean replies. Please show a little courtesy, patience, and respect for your fellow gamers when you post.
